Disability and Learning Support

We aim to be a disability-friendly college. Last year our Enabling Services team supported over 600 students who disclosed information about physical or sensory impairments, mental health difficulties and learning difficulties. Our track record in supporting students with disabilities was identified as one of the strengths of the college in our last full Ofsted inspection.

We will meet with you to discuss your support needs and agree a support plan including the sharing of information.

Our Enabling Services Team includes over 40 permanently contracted staff whose main role is to support students with their learning needs. They can also help with mobility, personal care, communication and other requirements. We can provide specialist assessments and equipment.
