All our jobs are advertised on our website, on Fejobs.com, on teachFE, and with the job centre. Tutor vacancies are also advertised in the TimesEd.

Unfortunately the college does not accept CVs as an application. A City College application and a letter of application must be submitted.
Can I give you my CV to keep on file until a suitable vacancy arises?
Unfortunately we do not hold details on file as applicants must submit an application form each time they apply.

An application form plus other information can be downloaded by clicking the relevant job vacancy on our Job vacancies page and selecting from the "Vacancy Info" menu. Alternatively during recruitment campaigns you can call the recruitment line on (0121) 204 0000 for an application pack.
Why do applicants need to complete an Equal Opportunities monitoring form?
The information collected is used by HR for monitoring purposes to ensure that no post applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of race, gender, disability, class, nationality, age, marital status, sexual orientation, trade union, political or religious beliefs. This will be kept confidential and will not be included as part of the selection process.
What is the process after submitting an application form?
An interview panel will look at all the applications received and confirm which applications meet the criteria of the person specification. These applicants will then be selected for interview.
How do I get into teaching?
You will need a relevant subject qualification and have or be willing to undertake Qualified Teacher Status i.e. PGCE, or Certificate in Education.
