Paul's passion is improving individuals and businesses together.

He has enjoyed over a decade's worth of experience spearheading real success with business teams in Birmingham, the West Midlands and nationally including organisations such as:

  • Selfridges
  • AA
  • NEC
  • BT
  • Birmingham City Council

Paul is a well know figure in the West Midlands training arena as a result of his time working with the Chamber of Commerce. Having undertaken lots of mature learning and work based qualifications he enjoys working closely with all different types of employers supporting them to increase their profits through strong focused training and development.

Preet is a recent addition to the Employer Services team having built up a successful career focussed in sales and account management spanning industries such as:

  • Finance
  • Advertising
  • Work Based Learning
  • Apprenticeships
  • Welfare to work

She has enjoyed particular successes with regards to Work Based Learning and Apprenticeships and has been responsible for helping organisations including:

  • NHS PCT Trust
  • Adee Phelan Celebrity Hairdresser
  • AA

Preet is working relentlessly to expand our highly successful apprenticeships portfolio that increasing numbers of local businesses are taking full advantage of.

Majid Malik

Majid has enjoyed continued success in supporting SMEs for over 10 years. Qualified to degree level in Business & Finance Majid has also trained in the PRINCE2 project management methodology.

His experience covers private, public and voluntary sector organisations including:

  • Department of Work & Pensions
  • Birmingham City Council
  • IBB Plc
  • Money Matters
  • Learning & Skills Council

By analysing core business functions and implementing most appropriate solutions Majid has plays a pivotal role at helping SMEs reach their operational goals through utilising our services.

Christine O'Neill

Christine has a wealth of experience from the Corporate sector in providing network design, project management and IT training to improve business processes and efficiencies. Her experience includes being European Channel Training Manager for Cisco Systems.

Since joining City College Birmingham Christine has benefitted these organisations:

  • Birmingham Community Healthcare Trust – Built up a long term strategic partnership and has delivered bespoke tailored training for them over 4 years.
  • West Midlands Fire Service – Managed provision of c. 100 iTQ qualifications (NVQ for IT Users) for firefighters.
  • Phoenix Group – Trained staff from Beginners IT to Level 2 iTQ.
  • Heads & All Threads – Arranged English language training for Polish staff and Business Administration Apprenticeships.
  • Europackaging – Currently managing successful programmes with regards to NVQs in Customer Service, Team Leading and recently Warehousing & Storage.

Christine says "I get great pleasure in working with all businesses irrespective of size and seeing the results of our efforts, my main aim is to provide a flexible and tailored service to suit their needs and build up a partnership with them going forward".

Tracy Kerr

Qualified to degree level in Business Management Tracy has helped and supported many organisations to achieve their business objectives.

She has played a pivotal role in shaping the training needs for local companies such as:

  • West Midlands Fire Service – Managed Skills for Life and customer service programmes.
  • Autoglass – Managed customer service training throughout their West Midlands branches.
  • Lawsons Insurance Brokers – Arranged a really successful apprenticeship experience.

Tracy's specialism is the Financial Services arena where she is working with organisations large and small to meet the skills needs of this ever changing sector. Her other specialities include customer services and sales, she enjoys meeting companies and exploring new ways of growing the business through looking at people, performance, productivity and cost effective recruitment.
